Van driver training courses and SAFED certification
Van drivers are essential to many businesses, and keeping a fleet of vans running, drivers safe, deliveries on time and costs within budget is important to all of them, so our training is geared entirely to ensuring the safety and efficiency of your drivers.
Working throughout the UK with a wide variety of companies, I have worked with novice drivers and trained experienced drivers and managers to become van driver assessors within their companies.
Training can be provided using your vans, from your workplace, keeping costs and disruption to a minimum.
Courses typically cover basic vehicle checks, loading assessment and security, risk assessment, safe reversing and on-road training with a final assessment for your records.
Van driver training works best when it is promoted as a means to improve the quality of your drivers, improving your company image, reducing fuel and maintenance costs and reducing driver and vehicle down time due to incidents. However, remedial training can also be included for drivers who are deemed to be at high risk after speeding or crashes.

- Candidate numbers – up to 2 per day (either half day each or ideally two for a 6 hour course if suitable)

Van Driver Assessor Course:
The SAFED for Vans Assessor course is designed for experienced van drivers, who have supervisory experience and are required to assess drivers either for interview processes, after an incident, or as part of a well managed risk management process.
